Yellow Bedstraw

Galium Verum

Yellow bedstraw has long been used in folk medicine as a styptic (a substance that stops minor bleeding) and for making foot baths. Herbals still list it for these purposes, and they also specify a tea made from the plant as a diuretic, and ro the treatment of epilepsy. There is no scientific evidence to support any of these uses.
