Queen Anne's Lace

Daucus Carota

Scientific experiments have verified the efectiveness of the seeds in dispelling flatulance (intestinal gas). The wild root, like the clutivated one, is rich in vitamine A, which is good for night vision, but the vitamin is harmful when taken in excessive amounts.

Do not confuse Queen Anne's Lace with the poisonous water hemlock (Cicuta Maculata), poinson hemlock (Conium Maculatum), or fool's parsley (Aethusa Cynapium). The red or purple flower in the center distinguishes Daucus Carota.
