Hyoscyamus Niger

Henbane is a source of hyoscyamine, a narcotic sometimes used for sedation and relieving muscle spasms; scopolamine, also a narcotic and muscle relaxant; and atropine, and antispasmodic often used to dialate the pupils of the eyes.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration classifies henbane as "unsafe." It is an extremely dangerous poison; it can cause dizziness, stupor, blurry vision, delirium, confulsions, and, in large amounts, even death.
